While she made the choice to stay home and raise their
three children, she continually developed her knowledge of the real
estate market by buying and selling several homes. When marketing their
last home, Jody didn't realize when she was preparing her home for sale,
that there was a term used called “staging”, she just thought
she would do whatever it took to make her home “show well”
in order to sell for top dollar. As a result, their home sold to the
first couple that viewed the house, and for above asking price. Her
real estate agent's remark that “she had a real knack for this”
made a lasting impression in Jody's mind.
Jody decided to pursue her passion in this area and researched many
staging courses before enrolling in the Haverhill Institute of Staging
and Design, where she received accreditation as a Stager and Redesigner.
To complement her training from the Haverhill Institute, she then completed
her Certified Staging Professional program, allowing her to add the
designation of Certified Staging Professional (CCSP). Also, to further
benefit her clients, Jody enrolled in QC school of design and received
her credentials as a Professional Colour Consultant (PCC).
Jody's passion, creativity, and life experiences, coupled with her formal
education in decorating and staging training, will help make your home
stand out above the competition. Jody's goal is to showcase the property
by making it look more inviting, spacious, fresher, and best of all,
convince prospective buyers to take the all important step of making
the offer, one that highlights the true value of your home.
