Sandra Spence, Professional
Property Stager
Serving Ottawa, Gatineau/Aylmer Sector Sandra was born in Pointe Claire, Quebec where she lived until 1985. She moved to Ottawa for a very short period of time, then onto Chatham, Ontario for a period of five years. While in Chatham she had the opportunity to work in the hotel industry gaining five years of customer service experience. Sandra started out as a front office receptionist/clerk and then quickly moved into a temporary position of front office supervisor. Once the temporary position had ended she was approached by the hotel manager and asked to become his Secretary/Receptionist. Unforeseen circumstances in 1990 led Sandra back
to the Ottawa area where she finally settled. Sandra was offered
a position in the high tech field as a receptionist. Her skill
set did not go unnoticed. Her manager, who was also the human
resource person, approached her and asked if she would be interested
in operating the company library, which she did successfully for
eight years.

More recently Sandra worked in the small business sector, gaining another two years of customer service experience. Her main roll within the organization was the position of records management. She used her impeccable organizational skills to help bring the company records room to a new level of order.
Although Sandra enjoyed her day jobs it did not give her a creative outlet, so she went to night school. After four years of studying at night and working by day, she achieved her life long dream and obtained her diploma in Interior Decorating from Algonquin College with honors.
Sandra is now pleased to be able to meld her dream with her day job in giving people advice on how to enhance their living space.
When not at work Sandra enjoys taking long walks with the family’s adorable Wheaton Terrier German Shepherd mix named Iyshia. Her husband Andy and her son Gordon will sometimes join in when they have the time or inclination.
